Yes you should. It's nice. I try to do all the races from the ****pit view now just for the little subtleties of the game. I don't get to play that often (too busy with side projects). But it's definitely a solid racing simulator.

I started falling out of love with the GT franchise with GT4. I felt that they shifted too much effort towards the steering wheel and left the regular controller players behind. I even bought the wheel to see if that would help. The problem is that you can't get any G-force feedback for breaking or accelerating without some sort of hydraulics (and that is only limited to a max of 1.0G), so it's still not a real simulator.

I do like playing the racing games, but I have gravitated more towards the feel and style of the Forza franchise. Oh, and the interface with Forza is much better than in GT3 or GT4. I haven't played GT5 yet, so I can't comment on that one.
