I've seen better Mexican built Mk5 Jettas than my old Wolfsburg built Mk5 Golf GTI (I hated changing the HPFP cam follower on the 2.0T for either). Then again the current Mk7 RoW engines get port injection + direct injection yet the NA ones built in Mexico only get direct injection. Pick your poison.

Later on I've noticed a lot of running changed VW parts became Made in China, but most of their stuff were made in Eastern Europe to begin with anyway.
