Most American car has been the Camry for years and truck was the Tundra IIRC.

Honestly, the main difference I see on a daily basis is ultimately the engineering behind the cars. Assembly and where something is made doesn't matter so much as idiotic design and engineering decisions. People seem to thing German cars are great, but why do VW's all smell like damn crayons and they all seem to have crumbling wiring insulation.
