Given my vision is 20/20, not much need for updating the prescription....
Sorry but the current polarized tech is definitely a step up from the 50's but it is still an intrusive experience that has a negative effect on the cinematography that outweighs anything it adds.
At least some Directors now have stopped feeling they have to "play" to 3D so it movie itself looks more natural.
Maybe what I really need is a custom set of 3D glasses. The ones they provide are one size fits some, but definitely do not fit either MomHawk or me. She has a problem where they are too big (she basically has to buy kids off the shelf sunglasses of any price), and for me they are too small and I see the frames which annoys the heck out of me since I don't normally wear glasses.
John Cameron has said that his goal is for the
Avatar 2 to have a 3D experience that doesn't require glasses. If he figures that out, then I may enjoy it more.
