...It does get frosty here but usually only snows in the mountains. Maybe it snows once every 7 years or so.
To get back on topic I actually tore a belly pan on a Mazda3 in Kentucky. It wasn't the 5-6 inches of snow so much as the layer of ice on top of it. I'm glad I don't have to deal with that anymore. Though a set of chains is required to cross the Trinity Alps this time of year. I haven't had to head east in the winter. The mountain passes here are bad enough when it's rainy though. I'm still on all-seasons because I'm a greedy bastard and haven't had to traverse highway 299 or 36 in the winter.
