I barter with my son-in-law. He is relatively young, works construction as a trade, is quite handy with tools and he is strong and agile.

So, I (we) watch his children during the week and he helps out with things around the house, like small construction (repair) jobs, cleaning the roof & gutters, moving heavy stuff, trucking stuff (with his PU), that needs to be trucked, etc.

My son in law manufactures assault rifles for a living and that is a skill set that I can rarely call upon!
