While, yes, the v8 swap is doable, it would be difficult. the engine is physically bigger, height, length. it would be heavier, the auto gearbox, or a manual (ie jza80 supra 6speed getrag) capable of handling the power/torque of the v8would be physically bigger and may not fit in the transmission tunnel. then there is the matter of the exhaust, the fuel system, the ecu, and the wiring. |
