Do you think the twins are long and sleek? IMO, I don't think they are at all but true Toyota can still design cars. It's when they cut corners with joint partnerships is where they start to lose their essence.
Honestly, the LC-500 is what the Supra MKV should resemble. Just like how the SC300/400 was released then the Supra in the 90's, it would only make sense for history to repeat itself with the LC and then Supra MKV with very distinctive similarities.

You can still see the MKIV body though. At least it spawned from the early/ugly Supra designs.
It did take a while before Toyota came up with the legendary design.
