Obviously you're offering them advertising space on your mobile billboard in exchange for something of value to you. Try to start with a "no cost" option for the sponsor initially to get in the door. eg: A tyre shop can give you free fitting, alignment and balancing at no cost to them in their quiet times. And if they never had your business before, then a discount on tyres also doesn't cost them anything - because they haven't been making anything out of you. That's how you start the relationship which you then work on cultivating and growing into a meaningful sponsorship. Offer a "win/win" arrangement.
