Same goes with the hard buttons on the left side of the unit. They feel cheap and chintzy when pushed, and half the time I have to push them more than once before they respond. Also, once again, I often miss the hard button while driving and hit a touch-screen button by accident, because whatever neanderthal designed this head-unit decided to put the "soft" buttons on the left side of the screen, right next to the "hard" buttons.
The touch-screen itself is also laggy, and half the "soft" buttons on the screen are also irritatingly small and positioned poorly.
Pioneer used to be a name synonymous with quality, but they should be ashamed to have put their name on such a steaming pile of hot garbage.

I don't think you will have a better time with the Fujitsu-Ten headunit either it feels really cheap and looks like some Chinese knockoff.
Maybe Subaru should have stuck with Kenwood.
