Tragically, the Rotary died with the RX8. It only lives on in concept cars.
Mazda would be better served as continuing to sell itself as a cheaper alternative to BMWs. It would be nice if that meant more real wheel drive and sporty cars. But in reality it means angry and underpowered economy cars with optional leather bun warmers.
