I chose positive displacement over centrifugal because of the low end torque and boost at all RPMs. I didn't like the idea of max PSI (8ish?) only at redline. And pretty much stock feel at low RPM. From what I hear, and from a plethora of dynos, PD seems to give the car the feel of a 6 cylinder, throughout the whole rev range. Slap on some Flex Fuel and you're in business. Also, if I'm feeling crazy, twin chargering the car would only take plug and play turbo kit with custom intake piping, instead of trying to finagle a turbo next to a centri.
And I chose Edelbrock over Cosworth or Innovate because of pricing (I got a good deal for it), power potential of the Eaton 1320 TVS unit, looks, and low noise for stock-like operation.
