Your dealership should give you a warranty replacement on it if they can't fix it.
But I'd have a better solution, if you're into viral videos, I'd make one of a deinstallation of the Subaru OEM radio and what to do with it, that is:
take it to the range and use it for target practice
thermite fun
acid test
drop test etc
After my OEM radio deprogrammed itself after a battery reset and dealership denied me a replacement that's what I should have done. I moved on and bought a cheap Sony replacement, much better.
