Consider how many car they want to sell, the main plant is really a small plant. They planned to sell 1,033 thousands cars globally this year and 25% will be produced here in Indiana, 75% will be in Gunma. Since the Gunma Yajima plant can produce around 600,000 cars, the main plant maybe has boosted to 175 thousands cars a year (According my terrible math). Another report published at 2014 shows brz sold 16,884 and Toyota 86 sold 48,834 globally which is 65,718 combined. If the demand of brz is still climbing up, who knows how long time they need.
