I'm at 1600 km now, and had a good lengthy drive around town last night - I didn't experience the issue a single time (even when trying to reproduce it). It may be the ECU just learning (and me learning).. and the engine breaking in.
Naturally, I'm going to continue monitoring the issue... but I think it really just might be new-baby panic.

If this ECU learning thing would be happening it would be mentioned in the manual ...so people don't freak out!
