Effective mods for NA hp seem to be gutted header or aftermarket header, exhaust and intake, tune and flex fuel. More power seems to take much more money for much less gains.

If you want to do these mods for faster lap times, and not just more grunt on the street then consider the following:

--Depending on the track, good tires can be the cheapest mod for better track times.

--Our cars are more momentum cars, so aero can help keep the momentum going.

--Effective mods for increasing rpm response or rate of rpm changes seems to be gearing changes and reducing rotational masses through light weight components like LWFW or lighter rims, etc. This will get you into the higher power band faster.

--Braking will improve lap times...pads, stainless lines, master cylinder brace, fluids.

--Suspension with lower center of gravity and help with traction...springs, camber bolts, etc and work up from there in cost.
