As I suspected. The manual instructs
removal of the pedal assembly. Are there any tricks? Hmmm...
Maybe you can just remove the kick panel to gain access to the connector. Then, using a paper clip or short piece of wire, jumper the contacts. If you can start it then it's the switch. If not then there's no need to mess with it. The problem lies elsewhere.
