The WRX, EVO4-6 and R32 all seem like interesting cars for the winter, however, I don't have the $$$ to actually get one right now to find out.

The last thing you want in the winter is a RHD car! Passing and left turns are an adventure during perfect weather and I would not want to even think of them in the snow. Besides bringing them over is expensive so you need to really want the car for what it is not as a winter beater.

Met a guy with a pristine RHD Evo 3 at a meet during the summer. Car cost $40K and shipping, permits, inspections, taxes, duty and what sounded like bribe money cost $25K. He said he had no issue getting insurance and it was no more than he was paying on his 08 Evo X when it was new.
