I'd pick the FRS, but that's because experience tells me that RWD is more fun in most cases than FWD. Personal preference, really. I test drove a NA Veloster, and I don't hate it, but the interior felt pretty cheap.

And really, any car can get you into trouble. I learned to drive on a high 11/low12 88 Mustang GT with nitrous. I got one warning from police ever, and I know I was doing the speed limit, so I'm pretty sure it was more of a "hey it's 2am and those kids are in a fast car, pull them over" moment. I got into more trouble in my 00 Celica GT-S and my 03 Protege5 than I ever did with the Mustang, and they had a fraction of the horsepower.

I don't agree with this in every scenario. I graduated high school and got a job. I didn't go straight to college because I didn't know what I wanted to do. I had a few ideas, but if I had to make a decision I probably would have made one that I wished I hadn't. A lot of kids go to college because it's expected of them, but I have plenty of friends with degrees that can't find work relating to what they went to college for at all. On top of that they have a bunch of student loan debt.

Once I worked for a while and figured out what I wanted to do I went to school. I don't regret it and feel like it was a complete waste like some of those other people, and I'm actually using some of what I learned.
