Just wanted to say thanks for the thread everybody, definitely saves some time getting pointed in the right direction
Supposedly the 2017 has slightly stiffer front springs and slightly softer rear springs than the previous FR-S. I'm going to take the car to two small local events bone stock this month. After that I'm planning to pick up some dedicated wheels/tires, and to stick on a Strano front sway along with some crash bolts and set my alignment. I'm thinking max camber (duh), 1/16" total toe out in the front, 1/16" total toe in in the rear. I'm gonna leave the shocks stock for the first season I think, probably buy konis and a catback for next season.
Am I on the right track here alignment wise?

Sounds like you are on the right track to me. I run neutral toe in the front, but my cars are STX.
If your car does not have TRD parts it should be DS. Curious how the new gearing will work in the stock class, it tops out at 57mph in 2nd.
What gen was your STR Miata? The ND's look like a ton of fun in STR.
