Was out travelling about this weekend in the '04 Suburban. Needed fuel so I stopped into a Racetrac (for those not familiar huge convenience store chain down my way) that had e-85. Since the Suburban is flex fuel, and it was $0.40 a gallon cheaper, I decided to try it.

It's like it woke the old girl up! A very noticeable difference in pick-up, etc based on the butt dyno.

Racetrac are redoing a lot of their stores so hopefully this is a trend here. They also had no ethanol gas at two of their 20 pumps as well. All the others had e-85, diesel and the regular trio of gas blends. The two with no ethanol didn't have e-85.
