You may have been my age but that does not mean you have been me. Each person is different. I'm not trying to stick up for the younger generation or anything, i know plenty of dumb ass drivers my age and younger. Just recently 3 out of 4 teens were killed in a car accident a few days before their high school graduation because they were joyriding and jumped railroad tracks. They were air-born for a while, lost control, and hit a telephone pole. One girl survived. But i also have encountered plenty of older idiots too. Some guy just yesterday looked to be in his 40's thought it would be a good idea to leave his car parked in the center of a busy street at a red light during rush hour. Literally just walked out and went into a store while his car sat in the center lane with its emergency flashers on. (He wasn't broken down because i saw him get in the car and drive off in my rear view.)
Again, I'm not trying to get in a debate here about young verse old, just want to point out that there are many young people out there who are good and responsible drivers.
I don't know about the OP because i really didn't read much of the post, but i am speaking for myself. That's all.
