Washed mine again today. Didn't dress. Weather not too good. Cover battery, alt, and intake.
Used Gunk Foam again. Spent 40min washing. Drove to Starbucks for 20min after.
I know many people say, "dont need to cover anything anymore!" But I still prefer to. If I am to do a thorough wash, I wrap every connection where there is a electrical plug. [Done this only once] then use 2 Gunk cans. 1 before its wet, then I rinse, and when engine is wet, I spray 2nd Gunk can and scrub. Then rinse, dry, drive car, let it cool and spray down with hose again.
Why twice? Because it will smell of chemicals [Gunk] if I dont.
Once its dried, I dress with Gunk Dresser. I dont recommend the Gunk dresser. It kind of smells too much. Chem guys[?] has a better one.
I wipe excessive dressing with blue heavy duty towels. I let it sit for an hour or so, wipe again and drive. I recommend taking a good long drive so that smell is burned off.

Good tips but it's best if I dress.
