Reminds me of the time, down in California, one night, on a very straight, uncrowded country road, I was taking my brother a ride.
Now, let me mention, he is not a stranger to quick cars (having owned an older Dodge Viper for example) and presently owns a 1967 Corvette Stingray (325/350). However, he is not accustomed to all the "lights", like the shift light.
I have my shift light set at 6,200 rpms ...... to give these old reflexes time to react, before fuel cut off.
As I cranked it up through the gears, he exclaimed "watch out - some red light keeps blinking on your dash display .......!!
