The 10 series had to match the rest of the Scion 10 series cars (which are build in Toyota affiliated plants). The yellow was a new color for both, but it ended up on the Crosstrek as well. The hyperblue BRZ was a Crosstrek color. It wouldn't make a lot of sense to pick a different shade of orange when they already have the Crosstrek in that color. Considering the history, they will make the colors match up as much as possible to keep cost down. I'd put my money on it being a Subaru orange and the Crosstrek orange specifically. Once they release the color code, we will be able to easily tell.
