Both cool cars, but both different, id choose an frs
I would suggest having a stepping stone like approach to your cars. This way each new car is either an improvement or more appreciated than the last. My first car was a 90 camry rust brown at 17. I was able to move into my second car at 19, which was a TC with 20k miles on it, but in great condition. Now I am in a new TC (until I get the BRZ next Spring) mainly because I needed to establish my credit (which I now have).

Then again I don't know your financial background, plus the fact that someone has offered to pay fully for it. To me, first cars are meant to be dinged, scratched, and loathed.....plus at your age, you should take that money and SAVE it, to use more wisely during school.

my 2 cents...
