In my previous car I first recognized that sound when I installed an exhaust, it became louder when I added an intake. It's just air rushing thru intake and exhaust at sudden throttle changes.
For you its probably just the inlet hose amplifying some induction noise and you being very sensitive to all sorts of noises with the new car.
This car has multiple different sources of noise that worry some people initially, but functionally they cause no issues (transmission clunks, fuel pump chirp etc.)
