Good plan.
Yep, back-in-the-day ....... a lot of cars "burnt oil". It was easier and cheaper to just add a quart of oil every now and then ........ than to tear the engine down and replace the piston rings.

Ultramaroon had old cars, that more stuff came out of the crankcase breather tube than out of the tail pipe.......

Tcoat did ........ folks could track him, by the cloud of blue smoke that his cars left........
