Yeah, I've only had two cars rust out on me: my '88 MR-2 and my '06 Civic Si. I wasn't sure how susceptible these cars are to rust and have always been weary of those Krown or Corrosion Free treatments. Good call on the Petro Glide pass. There is one right around the corner from the office where I work. It should be reasonably easy to keep the salt off with frequent trips.

Yep. After two winters mine is still pristine. Other than uncoated bolts, fitting and components that is, but they will rust anyway so that does not bother me. I spend 14 hours a week on the 401 so am exposed to way more salt and slush than normal.
