Regarding limited vs premium vs 2016 limited, I'll tell you my wife's philosophy on buying expensive things like cars. You typically only buy something that costs tens of thousands of dollars about once every five or more years. Buy what you know you'll be happy with. You like the new rear end and the seats and the cluster from the 2017 limited even though it's another thousand or two? Then get it. Or buy the premium and kick yourself every day because you don't have the alcantara seats and automatic climate control, etc...

For reference, I have a limited. I bought it over the premium for just that reason.
Not to mention that even if the cluster would work in the other cars it would probably cost you more than the current difference just to buy it later. Individual OEM components ain't cheap.
