I've yet to be sold on any aftermarket intakes. Don't think any of them truly justify their price of entry. I still think there's room for improvement on the cleanness of install on all of the oil coolers too. I've never liked the standard clearances on the sandwich plates with the current round of off the shelf options.

Looking forward to where this goes. One would hope a new generation of oil coolers will be made that work with both the '17+ and the older models.

Yeah - won't work. Here's the specifications straight from Subaru:
