Oi Takashi has driven 5 Scion FRS built by various folks and tuner companies to give us a preliminary impression of aftermarket parts, and options for the Scion FRS/ Subaru BRZ.
It will be featured in Import Tuner in soon to be released issue.
While I can't go into depth on the actual details since that is for the magazine. Here are some photos that depict the event.
I invited Oi Takashi from Japan for this event to be the designated driver for the impression and time attacks.
He's a GREAT guy, and I'm sure I'll have an opportunity to present you to him again, more personally. Perhaps in a novice racing school for FRS owners, if you will be willing.... Sometime in the future, when there are enough interests, and funds willing. He teaches a dynamic driving school in Japan called D-Rights.
He is a Super Taikyu, Super GT, and various other racing careers that span about 30 years... His journalism that also includes Best Car, Best Motoring Videos since Day 1, and Hot Version and Hyper Rev, Rev Speed and other non-endemic publications featuring cars, also highlight him as one of the most dedicated.

Look for it in Import Tuner magazine and their website and on news-stands, probably next month!
It will also be featured from another angle, as Oi's trip to the USA and LA Experience with the FRS, REVSPEED magazine DVD, where I will be featured as well

(This will be a Japan only release magazine/DVD set)
PS. I'm watching the in-car footage Oi san gave me to translate, from each car...and it's pretty educational. His honest opinions and hard edged, non-biased inputs... Oh man, this is a treasure chest to be released to you all soon!!
Cusco FRS, DC Sports FRS (Pekingducks? Wasn't sure since I couldn't put a face to a username here, and I was a bit busy to meet folks enough, due to my role as Oi-san's assistant the entire day) , Club4AG FRS, along with a test of a bone stock FRS with two different tire configurations.

Good stuff!
We thank Oi Takashi, RevSpeed Japan, Import Tuner Magazine and everyone who toiled to make this coverage possible.
