How about this for the diffuser. Twin center-exit exhausts, about where the plate is. Delete the center vanes of the diffuser, but move a pair of them to the sides where the exhaust outlets used to be.
(That description make any sense? Vanes where the exhausts are, exhausts where the plate is, empty in the middle.)
In silver with bronze (like my sig's wheel colours) TE37s, too.
