I thought the lack of manual would be a bad thing, and I almost bought a 2012 Cayman R before the Alfa because of that... But no, the car is very involving. The steering is beautiful and even the floor gives you road feedback through your feet because under the floormat is the carbon tub - no insulation anywhere.

The car is great in Manual mode with super quick shifts and perfect rev match, as a dual clutch should. I was surprised about how it behaves at low speed though, much better than the DCT I had in my BMW.

I think I remember reading the manual was never a possibility with the design of the carbon tub.
