These seats are great. At work I drive a Silverado all day and it KILLS my back. But the FRS seats wrap around and have good lower back support. I had very little back or legs problems. That was my main concern on the drive and being the only driver (my wife doesn't drive a stick and it too scared to learn).
I hear you on the bug thing. I could have written a dissertation on the insect population of Florida if I saved the run off from the car wash when I got back.
