He didn't ask about that. Your unsolicited financial advice implies that you think you know better how he should spend his money than he does, without knowing anything about his personal circumstances. You seem to be assuming that just because he's 18, he obviously can't afford two cars and is therefore being wasteful or irresponsible if he buys a second car. That's not really your call.
