I haven't been much of a car guy but have really been enjoying my daily driving and doing some HPDE at PIR and ORP. So much fun. Now I'm stretching out of my comfort zone a bit and going to try doing my own brakes. Found the DIY tutorials here on the forum and they seem really helpful.
Anyhow, since the other owners appears to be closed, I thought I'd just post here.

Just a suggestion... before you put a lot of money in aftermarket mods like BBK, try swapping out the OEM brake lines with stainless lines and swap-out the OEM brake fluid to a higher-end (hi-temp) fluid.... bleed well. You might be surprised how much better the OEM brake setup can be -- especially if you have swapped out the OEM wheels for lighter-weight wheels and reduced unsprung weight at the four corners. If that doesn't cut it.. then continue the process by replacing with better pads...and then possibly all the way to complete replacement of rotors, calipers, etc..
Good luck! The journey is almost as fun as the results.
