I don't think we could ever get a consensus from even 10 people on here as to what does and does not cause them in their car. The closest thing to a pattern I could ever figure out is that a majority seem to agree that it only happens with fuels with a certain ethanol level. Even then there are people that say they have no issues at all. If it was a manufacturing problem we should be able to see a definitive pattern and it would be more consistently "I have" or "I don't have" not "well sometimes I do and sometimes I don't".
Easy to see how, if you have never had them, it can be confusing when we say they come and go depending on the fuel we use but I can literally predict (within a few minutes) when they will show up if I use certain gas.
