The batteries are in the pic, Im assuming it comes with them. You would also need an OFT or another tuning solution that would be compatable.
The Open Flash Tablet (OFT) is recommended for this kit. I know some users have gotten the ecutek to work with this ESC as well. There is an entire thread for the ESC on this site here
