Not sure anybody can say they're the standard for mpgs. Where I live I sometimes have to drive a mile uphill and a mile downhill in a single trip, and can max out at 20-25 mpg on those instances going uphill if I'm careful.. Thankfully almost all my driving is on well paved, smooth roads which seems to help sometimes get 30-40 mpgs. Cruising at level ground, even with rpms near 4000, I can get some real high numbers.
