Yep. I still recall vividly the day my sister, baby brother and I were playing around in the hay loft of one of my Grandfather's barns that had a combination hay loft, tobacco barn with a milk room in it.

My brother (was about 6 at the time) took a wrong step fell through the floor 10 feet and landed in a half full feed barrel (actual used whiskey barrel full of sweet feed). When he landed he bit all the way through his cheek (you could see through the hole, had a scar there the rest of his life). Had he not fallen in the barrel though, he would have hit a concrete floor and probably done much worse damage.
