I think a good starting point for a primarily track driven car is to get as much in the front as you can and use about 0.5 less in the rear and then fine tune from there. For example, I personally went with -2.2f/-1.7r but this is a year round, daily driven street car and I felt this was a good balance to start off with and so far it's been fine. If it was a primarily track driven car though, I'd be shooting for -3f/-2.5r or so.
