You need a flat surface on the top of the spring for them to work, and the stock springs definitely aren't flat at the top.

We try everything before, WD40, white lithium grease... nothing really fix the issue once the weight of the car is on the springs.
The only thing that fix it is a PROPER roller bearing.
So have Koyo bearing press into all the springs cap of MeisterR coilovers as standard on all McPherson Strut model.
A simple and easy fix to avoid noise.
Because having a "popping" noise everything you are trying to park your car is just not cool.

That's definitely the proper fix, but the torrington bearings are cheaper/easier if someone already has upper spring seats without bearings.
