I originally figured that with enough negative camber, you would promote inner tire wear with an increase in pressure. Is my understanding backwards, based on the recommendation to increase psi rather than drop it? I was running around 30 psi on the street, occasionally a tad less in canyons...

Try the RC1 since you primarily street. They're far quieter, and have less warmup time. They don't tolerate overdriving as much though.
