Yep, I can attest to that. When I was in FFA in HS we went on a tour of a meat processing plant. I saw this large funnel like thing funneling "parts" of animals into a large grinder. Yes sir, since I had witnessed the butchering of many animals, down on the farm, I knew what body parts they were.

I asked the guide if that was a processor for the packaging of feed for other animals. He said, no that was the start of the hot dog processing line.

I thought he was pulling this ol farm boys leg, till I observed, on down the line, the "product" was being extruded into skins to make hot dogs.

For about 30 years, I never ate another hot dog.....
