I see what you're talking about. You were talking about adjusting the ride height. You are looking for that spanner wrench that lets you adjust height I'm assuming. You can probably get replacement ones from Megan or buy one online or in store. Also, something is up with your coilovers thats for sure. It seems that @swarb is right about what happened. I'm pretty someone else with better knowledge can help you with the issue of the damper adjustements.

Or take it a competent shop that knows what they're doing. The clunking sound may be inherent design of the coilovers themselves. I would suggest if you do not know how adjust the ride height I would get a shop to help you out and have them do a once over on the installation to make sure everything is torqued properly.

Make sure you also get an alignment done as well.
