This is all fun and good on a track where you can rev to your hearts desire but on regular roads where we all drive around 2500rpms to 4500 rpms these engines suck ass IMO and they feel like you're beating the crap out of them just to go somewhere. Have you ever driven a turbo diesel? I think that's the kind of engine you want. Luckily (IMO), seems like Toyota doesn't want this kind of engine in this car.
Even though turbo diesels have improved a lot, they don't give the same feeling as a N/A-free revving-low torque-petrol engine
