I'd be really surprised if you could not detect a difference in laptimes. You're not always out of the torque dip on a track. Well, I certainly wasn't with the A/T car. The oil temps are comparable - within a few degrees, so there's no real measurable change there for me.
Sadly I do not have identical condition laptimes, because I've changed tyres, header & tune since my last lap at Wakefield Park - and I got a bit better I hope, too.

Anyway, mid 1:16 the first visit (stock car) and 1:12.75 yesterday.
0-100 times have improved by ~0.6s, but I only had some measurements with an android app (with obd, but still, it's not 100% accurate I guess).
I'll probably have some quarter mile times as well in a while - but I need to wait for my mate to do something on his car so we can go and test both cars
