The added heat is produced by compressing air. That has to go somewhere.
Electric motors produce heat as a byproduct of operation.
The battery produces heat when it discharges... and recharges.
The alternator produces heat charging the battery.
Pays yor monies and takes yor chance.
Not the *same* way, but way none the less.
