Question, what do you consider "heavier" or "lighter" steering .. ?? The effort to turn the steering wheel ..... or something else .. ??
Since the car is relatively new, you may consider asking the dealer that you bought the car from, to check the alignment. If they won't, I suggest you take it to a tire shop to have it aligned.
Also, as mentioned several times, check the tire pressure. If you bring them down to about 32 psi, from 35 psi, the steering will feel different.
So, 86wtywly, what's your plan ..... ??
